New Power Grips

A number of new improvements to AutoCAD^® in release R14 are easily missed; especially by veteran users, like myself, who continue with old habits. This new feature has to do with calling up a grip pop up menu.

Pick on an object or objects and then activate one grip by picking on it again ( it's called a hot grip ). Now, click the right mouse button and you will get the grips pop up menu. My favorite choice on this menu is not the obvious commands that we can all get by cycling through with returns, but the "Properties" command which leads to layers and colors, etc.
